Base requirements
Sheds can only be assembled on a prepared hard level base, for example: flags or concrete which should be absolutely level & square. We recommend Bearers be used under all sheds. Abortive installation, the erection service fee shall be retained to account for the abortive labour costs. A return erection visit can be arranged upon payment of an additional charge.
Delivery
Product delivery (supply only) shall be too kerbside or driveway only. The Company is not liable for delivery delays or failures caused by factors outside of The Companies control.
Accessibility
We require an adequate clearance area to the proposed base and working area (if you are unsure, please ask a member of staff at point of order) please note that we are not able to carry buildings over fences, walls garages and other similar obstacles. After care
Base coat treated sheds are coated with an anti-fungicidal treatment & will require a topcoat of treatment (we suggest a minimum of two coats of Protek Royal exterior paint)
Topcoats applied by us must be maintained in line with manufacture recommendations. All windows are fully beaded, but we do not seal the windows this is left for self-finish. This is because there will be settlement with a timber building.
Roof coverings
We supply all buildings with standard 20kg green mineral felt. When your shed is erected by us, felt is tacked finished only. Felt can wrinkle after fitting due to expansion and shrinkage due to weather conditions.
Construction
Timber being a natural product does shrink, split, warp and expand according to weather and temperature changes & knots may fall out. We are unable to offer any guarantee on any natural products as this is outside our control. All the buildings we sell are sheds if we offer to line and insulate your shed it is still a shed which is not covered by planning or building regulation. Our sheds are not designed or implied to be fit for a certain purpose, other than being a shed. We only offer sheds for sale.
Payment terms
We require a £200 non-refundable deposit with order. final payment is due when we start manufacture of your building. We accept cash and direct bank payments only.
